Coleman Lake Restaurant in Midville

Me and my family visited this place today and it was disgusting. Food was nasty,flies was really bad,37.99 for all you can eat crabs and they was salty. Using can soda and charging 2.99 for it.this place need to close the doors

Went for our 20th anniversary. Got a great table overlooking the water. We could see wildlife while we dined. Food was excellent - tasty and great variety. Grounds could use some maintenance.

Since it was under new management I thought I would try a take out plate. I had the stuffed flounder and it was great. I also had a salad from the salad bar and it was excellent. The flounder was cooked to perfection, I believe the cook is an original, one who worked with David B.and most assuredly, when David taught him he must have listened. I would definitely give it another try, this time going in and have someone wait on me for a change!! Coleman Lake....

We came on all you can eat crab legs night. We had a wonderful time, the food was great, and the service was amazing. Our server Monica was attentive and super sweet. Highly recommended.

Delicious! I'm very happy that I found this place. It's a little bit pricey, but it's worth every penny. The salad bar is good, egg, ham, broccoli etc. The seafood buffet has a large variety of good food. Salmon, scallops, crab cakes, amazing. Well worth the trip. It's not fancy dress up, but you could. This is definitely a place I'll come back to.

Was mislead by the menu they show online and what is actually offered here.. the food was average(well below worth what they charge), sell and serve alcohol(although it's a hidden menu item to trick any family person who doesn't ask), and the inside is not decorated as such of anything more than a 2 star restaurant.. my coffee had several tiny bugs in it, the bathroom looked ran down and cheap, and the Buffett was a simple set of two tables that looked like pieces of plywood with pots on it.. my $75 meal shouldn't have been more than $30.. will not return until alcohol is no longer allowed AND food either is upgraded in quality or downgraded in price..

GREAT SEAFOOD BUFFETT!!!!

The crabs legs were a little over done and did not crack like they should. Other than that the soup and salad bar were excellent. The service was phenomenal and the shrimp were great! The deck has a nice view of Coleman Lake. It's definitely worth a try if you're looking for a relaxed dining experience.

We was very impressed with the buffet. The variety of seafood and the taste of it all was amazing. We eat way too much. My husband and I was truly enjoyed ourselves. We will be back and we will spread the word of what a wonderful place to eat. Thanks to all.

The food was wonderful!!! If I could give more stars, I would... I had the shrimp and oysters and they were fried perfect. My bride was very complementary of her meal as well. Our server was a real cutie pie and serving us very gracious. We will return.. 5 🌟

We ate here last night and I wanted so much to like it. We used to eat here years ago when the seafood buffet was amazing. Last night was just awful! The service was great...but the food was terrible! $29.95 and I’d just as soon have been at Captain D’s. The crab stew was scorched. We could taste the burned flavor. The scallops were rubbery. The catfish was mushy, fried oysters overcooked. Did not get the crab legs because they were so small. There were 4 of us and none of us enjoyed our meal! What a rip off! We will not be going back!

The food and view were great and it was my birthday so i was treated to a delicious meal along with a free desert and song. The employees were professional and attentive in making sure i was satisfied with my meal.

Hidden treasure for sure! Went on Father's Day weekend. My dad wanted some seafood and our route was to go to Red Lobster. Instead we went here and were not disappointed! The steak and peppers on a stick were so delicious. 29.99 for seafood buffet or 39.99 to add crab legs to your buffett! We were up to our eyes in food! My 5 year old loved looking out the window and seeing "Pete", about a 8 food alligator, swimming around the slew. Such an awesome place. Great customer service.

A little too expensive for me... I only had the salad bar which was $11 for a basic selection 🙄🙄 I can get salad bar cheaper at Ruby Tuesdays with a wider variety for $7.99...we had a great waitress named Bailey she was super nice and cool... But the prices are too high and my friends didn't even like their food and they bought the $40 buffet and the only thing they liked were the crab legs🤷🏾‍♀️

Nice quiet place to enjoy dinner with family and or a date. Seated right on the water.

I used to come here often in the early 2000's. It was always busy and the food and service was very good. Just went on 2-21-20. Ordered the sirloin and shrimp evening special. Started with a request for oysters on the half shell, shortly the waitress returned they were not available tonight. Conveniently when I looked at my bill this morning the $12.95 charge was on it. Shrimp was disgusting and greasy. The steak was literally the worst I've had out. It was marinated in some funky salty brine, butterflied and was only 1/4" thick. Total bill for 3 of us was $150 with a generous tip. I don't like to complain if it's just average, this place was the bottom. Easy to understand why on a Friday night there was maybe 8 people there at 7:00 PM. When the waitress and hostess/manager asked how it was we all expressed our dissatisfaction. Oh, I'm surprised was their reaction. Don't waste your time or money at Coleman Lake Restaurant. They need help from Robert Irvine.

Food was not good. We had the buffet and we were not impressed went by and grabbed fast food on the way home.

Buffet had many well prepared and tasty choices. Looking forward to returning. Beautiful deck overlooking the Ogeechee River. Well worth the drive.
